Wilful Blindness

Wilful Blindness’ occurs when we deny a reality or truth in order to remain ‘feeling’ safe.

Within this, we can see that we haven’t developed the capacity to hold the Truth which is present. If we did, it wouldn’t bother us and we wouldn’t need to deny it. So, this is somethong stretching us beyond our current limits.

Often unconscious, this can be a survival pattern from the past when we distorted or diminish our own vision in order to feel safe. We aren’t willing (or able) to fully face the reality, and so we deny it in order to remain comfortable. This is Wilful Blindness, it’s self-lying.

Our vision can be throttled to protect ourselves from seeing what is at odds with a story we’ve built that makes us feel safe. Seeing or accepting the Truth in front of us would shatter this false safety story. We select safety over reality when the ultimate goal is to keep us feeling safe, even at the price of Truth.

This can be unlearned and grown out of. Perhaps you notice as you become more secure and mature in yourself you can admit and sit with inconvenient or uncomfortable truths sooner and more fully.

…Real Eyes Realise Real Lies…

As we deliberately perform the work of healing our wounds, and raising our vibration, we can fully develop Real Eyes. With Real Eyes we gain the ability to see clearly and truly. This ability is directly proportional to how centred and connected we are to our Heart. As we deepen our relationship with Love, Light and Truth, we become capable of seeing more and more, because we are stable, grounded and centred enough to bear witness to all storms and shadows. In it’s fullest expression, our Real Eyes are actually a grand act of compassion and service.
